Adding Google Analytics to Your App

Google Analytics is a powerful analytics tool, that collects data from your websites and apps to create reports that provide insights into your business.

You can implement your Google Analytics directly with your app.

HOW TO ADD GOOGLE ANALYTICS TO YOUR APP:

In Google Analytics

1. Set up a new or open your existing Google Analytics account

2. Make sure you are using the new GA4 Property

3. Navigation to the Data Streams section via the Admin link

Select the Data Stream you want to use for your app

Copy your Measurement ID - it will look something like G-0051VCFT56

In the Movement Admin

1. Navigate to Engage > Integrations in the black lefthand sidebar.

2. Click on ‘Google Analytics’. 

3. Paste in your Measurement ID that you copied from your Google Analytics Account.

4. Hit Save and after some time you should see activity happening in your app being passed back to your Google Analytics Dashboard.
